About Us
NLC (NEC Labs China) is part of NEC‘s global R&D group to research and develop advanced technologies for NEC’s social solutions.
NLC has gathered a group of excellent technical talents who graduated from top universities in China and other countries, all of them have master‘s degree or above, and the percentage of PhD is more than 50%.
NLC focuses on cutting-edge technologies in wireless communications and artificial intelligence, and has achieved a number of industry-leading innovative research results. In recent years, the number of international patent applications per researcher has been among the highest in NEC's global R&D group, and NLC has been cooperating with the professor teams of famous universities in China to conduct research on new technologies, cooperating with many leading companies in China to develop and verify the application of artificial intelligence technologies, and cooperating with a startup incubator company to promote the application of technologies.
The goal of NEC Labs China is to base on China, gather talents, insist on innovation, and contribute to enterprises and society with more first-class technological achievements.
